Jessica Jones is the television series adaptation of the Marvel superhero series of the same name. Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series chronicles the adventures of Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), a former superhero who now spends her time as a private investigator. The series, which premiered on Netflix on November 20th 2015, is the second of four original series set in the MCU that will highlight The Defenders, Marvel's "street-level" heroes.

A Glock 17 is seen used by a NYPD officer under the control of Kilgrave (David Tennant). A suppressed one is also seen fired. This is a mistake, as the only Glocks authorized by the NYPD are the Glock 19 and Glock 26 for back-up and off-duty use.
Glock 17 2nd Generation - 9x19mm. This model added finger stepping and cuts to the backstrap of the frame to make it easier to hold than the Generation 1 model.

In "AKA Crush Syndrome" (S01E02) an unloaded Glock 19 is seen used by a Krav Maga trainer (Gabriel Sloyer) who is training Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) disarmament techniques, Trish also handles the weapon, it can be identified as empty and not imitation as Trish says she hears the 'click' so she knows she did not disarm him before the trigger was pulled. NYPD Sergeant Will Simpson (Wil Traval) is seen carrying one in "AKA It's Called Whiskey" (S01E03).
