I just got this movie on DVD, I'll get rid of the low-res pics and fill in the blanks when I get a chance. If it is okay with the original makers, could I redo the page so all the screencaps are big hi-res shots instead of small pictures? -GM
Not that I speak for everyone, since I only contributed a few of the shots you see below, but I don't think anyone should mind if you're replacing old low-res screenshots with new high-res versions.-MT2008 02:58, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
But I wouldn't want to insult anyone by replacing their shots if they are good pictures, but smaller than mine. For instance, your shots are clear, but small. If my DVD supplied larger screencaps, would it be okay to replace them? -GM

Heckler & Koch G36C

Early on in the film Sergeant Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) fires a round from his Heckler & Koch G36C fitted with a standard G36 carry handle, laser pointer and tactical flashlight during a CO-19 operation.

AK-47

During the opening scene Sergeant Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) fires a round of 5.56mm into a crackhead (the dirctor edgar wright) holding a Kalashnikov. The type of AK-47 the crackhead was armed with appears to be a Chinese-made, Norinco Type 56-1 assault rifle.

Winchester Model 1300 Defender

Nicholas Angel's (Simon Pegg) partner, Danny Butterman (Nick Frost) is using a Winchester Model 1300 Defender provided by Angel during the many of the shootouts later in the film. The Model 1300 Defender in the movie is fitted with a tactical flashlight in the foregrips, and spare 12 Gauge shell holders. Nicholas Angel used a Mossberg shotgun, not a 1300, after discarding his L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle.

Doctor Hatcher also uses a Defender when he holds Nicholas and Danny at gunpoint before Danny blows his foot off.

Smith & Wesson 5906

Danny Butterman (Nick Frost) uses a Smith & Wesson 5906 as his secondary weapon to the Winchester Model 1300 he also carries. He is seen using it during the pub shootout and during the car chase to shoot at Simon Skinner's (Timothy Dalton) car. His father, Inspector Frank Butterman (Jim Broadbent) gets ahold of it in the final scene in the mini-village and threatens his son with it. Danny then retains the weapon while Frank runs off - unwilling to shoot his own father, Danny angrily fires the S&W into the air while lying on his back (spoofing a scene from Point Break).
