Furious 7 is the seventh installment in the Fast and the Furious film franchise. Set after the events of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, the team find themselves the target of a rogue ex-black ops assassin who happens to be the elder brother of Owen Shaw (from Fast & Furious 6). The film marks the final film role for Paul Walker, who died in a tragic car accident in 2013. Saw co-creator James Wan takes over as director and the majority of the cast returns for the 2015 sequel. New cast members to the franchise include Kurt Russell, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, and Jason Statham.
