Friday the 13th (Film Series)

Friday the 13th is the American horror film franchise that primarily featured the undead serial killer known as Jason Voorhees (with the exception of the original film in 1980 and Part V). While it has never been popular with reviewers, the film series currently spans 12 movies (including a 2009 reboot and aa crossover film where Jason battled fellow horror film icon Freddy Krueger of A Nightmare on Elm Street) and one television series (although it did not feature Jason). The series also is considered one of the most successful media franchises in North America. (Note: 1981's Friday the 13th Part 2 only has one holstered firearm seen in the film, so it will not have its own page.)
