While it has never been popular with reviewers, the film series currently spans 12 movies (including a 2009 reboot and aa crossover film where Jason battled fellow horror film icon Freddy Krueger of A Nightmare on Elm Street) and one television series (although it did not feature Jason). The series also is considered one of the most successful media franchises in North America. (Note: 1981's Friday the 13th Part 2 only has one holstered firearm seen in the film, so it will not have its own page.)
