In season eight, Morgan's people enter the mysterious PADRE settlement after leaving the Texas coast on rafts at the end of the previous season. However, the mythical sanctuary turns out to be not so safe, forcing Morgan and Madison into a new struggle. The season is directed by Michael Satrazemis, Heather Cappiello and others, consists of twelve episodes and was premiered on May 14, 2023 on AMC.

Pistols
Beretta 92FS
Madison (Kim Dickens) grabs the Beretta 92FS from a PADRE guard during a confrontation at the beginning of "Remember What They Took From You" (S8E01). Later, Morgan (Lennie James) threatens Madison with another gun, and Mo (Zoey Merchant) takes it from a bag while on the houseboat.
Beretta M9A1
Due to a continuity error in some scenes in "Remember What They Took From You" (S8E01), Madison (Kim Dickens) and Morgan (Lennie James) use a Beretta M9A1 instead of the 92FS.
CZ 75B
June Dorie (Jenna Elfman) carries a stainless CZ 75B as her primary sidearm during the season. The first time she uses the gun when Adrian (Jonathan Medina) comes to her cabin in "Blue Jay" (S8E02). She later shoots walkers on the train car trying to save Dwight and Sherry.
Glock 17
Grace Mukherjee (Karen David) fires a Glock 17 at walkers saving Mo, Morgan and Madison on the houseboat in "Remember What They Took From You" (S8E01).
Heckler & Koch USP
While in custody in "Remember What They Took From You" (S8E01), Madison (Kim Dickens) snatches a Heckler & Koch USP from one of the PADRE guards planning to kill herself, but it turns out to be unloaded. The other guard (Alex Hill) also uses the gun during the escape from the PADRE. Several Heckler & Koch USP pistols are seen in an arms cache.
SIG-Sauer P226R
One of the PADRE guards is armed with a SIG-Sauer P226R during Madison and Mo's escape in "Remember What They Took From You" (S8E01). Madison (Kim Dickens) takes the gun after stunning him.

Smith & Wesson Model 19
Adrian (Jonathan Medina), a member of the parental resistance movement, is armed with a Smith & Wesson Model 19 in "Blue Jay" (S8E02). In the train car, Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista) both take possession of the revolver.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
What appears to be a Heckler & Koch MP5A2 submachine gun is seen in a cache of weapons accessed by June (Jenna Elfman) in "Blue Jay" (S8E02).
Rifles/Carbines
Dan Inject Model JM
June (Jenna Elfman) uses a Dan Inject Model JM air rifle in her hunt for PADRE people in "Blue Jay" (S8E02). After attacking the boat with Finch (Gavin Warren), he snatches the rifle and accidentally shoots the boat.
M16A4
PADRE guards armed with ACOG-scoped M16A4 assault rifles at the end of "Remember What They Took From You" (S8E01) finding Morgan, Grace, Mo, and Madison.
M4A1
A PADRE guard (Ryan D. Olson) threatens Morgan (Lennie James) with the ACOG-scoped M4A1 during an interrogation at the beginning of "Remember What They Took From You" (S8E01) until he snatches the rifle before escaping. Several carbines are visible in a storage locker.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
Browning M2HBs commonly appear in use by PADRE guards. In "Remember What They Took From You" (S8E01), one machine gun is seen on the walls of PADRE, and several more are mounted on the guard's boats at the end of the episode.
