In the fifth season, Morgan's and Alicia's groups reunite for a united mission to help everyone in need. After being tricked by one of the survivors, the group finds themselves in very dangerous territory and are forced to find a way to escape as soon as possible to get revenge on the liar. However, it turns out that behind him are more powerful people who are trying to subdue the group. The season is directed by Michael Satrazemis, Ron Underwood, Sharat Raju and others, consists of sixteen episodes and was premiered on June 2, 2019 on AMC.

Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) aims a Beretta 84 at Logan's men who take over the Wittington's Denim Company factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Browning Hi-Power
Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) uses a Browning Hi-Power with black grips as his main sidearm throughout the season. The first time he pulls it out of the holster in "Here to Help" (S5E01) after noticing that the factory where Morgan's group made a settlement has been taken over by Logan's crew.
Glock 17
Sarah Rabinowitz (Mo Collins) uses a Glock 17 as her main sidearm throughout the season. She points it at Logan's men who take over the Wittington's Denim Company factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Revolvers
Single Action Army
John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) continues to use his paired custom nickel-plated Cimarron-maded Single Action Army revolvers with the initials "JD" engraved on grips during the season. John and June (Jenna Elfman) shoot walkers after the plane crash in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Rifles/Carbines
AKM
A member of Logan's crew (Alexandra Payne) is armed with an AKM (or similar AK rifle) at the gates the captured factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Colt M16A1
A member of Logan's crew (Mark Meir) is armed with a Colt M16A1 guarding the entrance to the captured factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Henry Classic Lever Action
