Several resistance fighters are armed with Norinco Type 84S rifles. They are fitted with synthetic furniture and AK-74 flash hiders, and are apparently meant to be stand-ins for the AK-74M, but are recognizable as the Type 84 due to their .75" hooded front sights and metal magazines. Beginning with "Door Number Three" (S4E06), the Type 84 becomes the weapon of choice for Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) , who replaced the Zastava M70 he carried in the previous two seasons.

Falling Skies - Season 4 (2014)

The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the series Falling Skies:

Rifles & Carbines

Norinco Type 84S (mocked up as AK-74M)

Several resistance fighters are armed with Norinco Type 84S rifles. They are fitted with synthetic furniture and AK-74 flash hiders, and are apparently meant to be stand-ins for the AK-74M, but are recognizable as the Type 84 due to their .75" hooded front sights and metal magazines. Beginning with "Door Number Three" (S4E06), the Type 84 becomes the weapon of choice for Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) , who replaced the Zastava M70 he carried in the previous two seasons.
