Dead Bang is a 1989 thriller starring Don Johnson as a relentless investigator with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department who uncovers a conspiracy involving white supremacists while investigating the murder of a fellow deputy. The film was directed by John Frankenheimer (Ronin) and was based on an actual case.

The Browning Hi-Power is the preferred weapon of multiple characters in the film.
Colt Python with 6" Barrel
LA Sheriff's Department Homicide investigator Jerry Beck (Don Johnson) carries a Colt Python with 6" Barrel and Pachmayer rubber grips.
Beretta 92FS
Though he carries a Browning Hi-Power throughout the film, Bobby Burns switches to a Beretta 92FS during a gun fight in the street.
Smith & Wesson Model 13
FBI Special Agent Arthur Kressler (William Forsythe) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 13 with a 3" Barrel. Standard issue for F.B.I. agents in the late eighties.
