Dawn of the Dead is a 1978 sequel to 1968's Night of the Living Dead. Set after the original outbreak, it sees society begin to collapse. Two news station workers - a intern named Francine (Gaylen Ross), and a news chopper pilot named Stephen (David Emge) decide to take the station's helicopter and leave the city before it's overrun. After meeting up with Philadelphia SWAT officers Peter (Ken Foree) and Roger (Scott H. Reiniger), they soon run out of fuel and are forced to set up shop in a local mall overrun with the undead.

Revolvers
Arminius HW-5T Revolver
The Arminius HW-5T is a common revolver in the movie, used by the apartment dwellers in the beginning as well as the Philadelphia SWAT team, including Peter and Roger.
Röhm RG-38
While waiting for Roger (Scott H. Reiniger) to return as a zombie Peter (Ken Foree) appears to be holding a nickel plated snubnose Röhm RG-38, this same revolver is seen earlier in Roger's hands.
Röhm RG-66
The revolver that Stephan finds in the maintenance office is a Röhm RG-66. He uses it throughout the film.
Ruger Single Six
A Ruger Single Six is seen loaded by "Flyboy" aka Stephen (David Emge).
Herters SA22
A Herters SA22 with pearl grips is carried around by Francine (Gaylen Ross) for most of the movie.
During the gun shop scene Peter is seen holstering what appears to be a pair Colt 1851 Navy black powder revolvers. Replicas manufactured by Uberti or Pietta. The brass frames indicate they are "Confederate" models and the stepped cylinders indicate they are .44 caliber. A brass framed .44 1851 never existed during the American Civil War however.
Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB
During the SWAT raid in the beginning of the film, Martinez (Joe Shelby) is seen firing what appears to be a nickel plated Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver.
Harrington & Richardson Model 632
A Harrington & Richardson Model 632 is seen in the gun case along with several other pocket pistols.
Colt Python
During the famous gunstore sequence there is a brief glimpse of a Colt Python in the display case. It is taken but never used.
Smith & Wesson Model 64
The Smith & Wesson Model 64 appears in the display case of the gun shop.

The Police Commander (Fred Baker), Blades (Tom Savini), and Peter all carry the M1911A1
Remington 1866 Derringer
Peter (Ken Foree) contemplates committing suicide with this gun until he decides to go with Fran (Gaylen Ross) to help protect her and her unborn baby. The Derringer in the store is Chambered in .41, where the one Peter (Ken Foree) uses is chambered in .22
Astra Firecat
The Astra Firecat pocket pistol is seen in the gunshop's lineup.
1914 Mauser Pocket Pistol
A nickel plated 1914 Mauser Pocket Pistol is one of the many pistols seen in the gun shop scene.
Ortgies Pocket Pistol
An Ortgies Pocket Pistol is seen in the display case on the far right.
Rifles & Carbines
Adler-Jager AP-74
The standard issue rifle to both the Philadelphia SWAT team and the United States National Guard in the movie is the Adler-Jager AP-74s standing in for the actual M16. Many shots reveal the AP-74's very small magazine and different flashhider. For most of the movie, the AP-74's are never actually fired, more mimed fired by the actors with sound and muzzle flash added afterwards. It's used by Peter (Ken Foree) and Roger (Scott H. Reiniger) from the beginning all the way until they raid the mall's gun shop.
Savage Model 99
Peter (Ken Foree) takes a scoped Savage 99 lever action rifle, chambered in .300 Savage, from the gun store for his personal use. He later uses it against the bikers when they invade the mall.
Marlin Model 983
Stephen originally uses a Marlin Model 983 rifle but is incompetent with it. During the sequence when Roger (Scott H. Reiniger) and Peter (Ken Foree) are venturing forth from the safety of the mall to get the trucks Fran (Gaylen Ross) is providing cover fire from the roof of the mall with a rifle.
Winchester 1906
The .22lr slide action Winchester Model 1906 can be seen circled in red in the gunstore.
K98 Sporter
A sporterized Karabiner 98k is found in the gun store and is handled by Steven.
Winchester Model 1894
The Winchester Model 1894 is seen briefly during the gun shop scene.
Marlin Model 336
The Marlin Model 336 is seen a couple times in the movie, mostly in the mall armory and later in the biker's arsenal.
Marlin Model Golden 39A
The Marlin Model Golden 39A is seen in the gun shop when Steve picks up the Ruger Single Six.
M1917 Enfield
One of the rifles on the left side of the red circle appear to be an M1917 Enfield bolt-action rifle.
Arisaka Type 38
On the right side of the red circle, an Arisaka Type 38 rifle can be seen.
Submachine Guns
Thompson M1921AC
One of the bikers, Mousey (Larry Vaira) who invade the mall near the end is seen using a M1921AC Thompson Submachine Gun with a 50 round drum magazine. Another biker is also seen with one.
MP40
The MP40 submachine gun is seen very briefly when the bikers first raid the mall.
Shotguns
Smith & Wesson 916A
The Smith & Wesson 916A shotgun is seen during the S.W.A.T. raid at the beginning of the film, carried by Wooley and other SWAT officers. Later on, the shotgun returns in the hands of one of the bikers raiding the mall.
Mossberg 500
A Mossberg 500 can be seen along the many other firearms handed out to the bikers.
Single Shot Breach loading Shotgun
A 12 Gauge Single Shot Shotgun is seen in the hands of Martinez's men in the beginning of the film, also in the hands of "rednecks".

An Ithaca 37 Deerslayer is seen in the gunshop.

M101 Howitzer
Multiple M101 Howitzers can be seen being transported by the U.S. Army National Guard.
M26A1 Grenade
The bikers arsenal includes a number of grenades, including a few M26 HE Frag fragmentation grenades.
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
The Mk 2 hand grenade is seen within the biker arsenal, and is used to destroy the trucks parked at the mall's entrance.
