The following weapons were used in Season 9 of the television series Criminal Minds:
Pistols
Glock 17
B.A.U. (Behavior Analysis Unit) Chief SSA Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) carries a third-generation Glock 17 as his duty sidearm. Other FBI agents and some police officers are seen with Glock 17 pistols.
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is the handgun carried by Detective Mark Reyas (Maurice Compte) in "The Return" (S09E08). Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) is seen using her Glock during her return appearance in "200" (S09E14).
Glock 26
A Glock 26 pistol is the duty weapon of Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) Jennifer 'J.J.' Jareau (A.J. Cook). The Glock 26 also is the backup weapon carried by both SSA Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) and SSA Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), both carried in ankle holsters.
Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1
SSA David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) carries a Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1 throughout the series. Rossi has a background of serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, which possibly helps explain his use of a 1911-type pistol.
SIG-Sauer P226R
SSA Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) carries a SIG-Sauer P226R fitted with a Streamlight TLR-1 weaponlight as his duty sidearm. His SIG can be identified as the P226R by the tactical rail, redesigned grips and trigger.
SIG-Sauer P229R
The SIG-Sauer P229R is the sidearm carried by Supervisory Special Agent Alex Blake (Jeanne Tripplehorn).
Beretta 92FS
Beretta 92FS pistols are used by many characters, including criminals and police officers.
M1911A1
The M1911A1 is used by Tivon Askari (Faran Tahir) in "200" (S09E14). Both Michael Hastings (Tahmoh Penikett) and 'J.J.' Jareau (A.J. Cook) uses the pistol later in the episode. The M1911A1 is used also by both Owen McGregor (Michael Trucco) and Preacher John Mills (Brett Cullen) in "Angels" (S09E23).
Kimber Warrior
The Kimber Warrior pistol is seen wielded by Eddie Lee Wilcox (Todd Stashwick) in "Route 66" (S09E05). This is likely the same pistol used by Dennis Haysbert in the series The Unit.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 65
Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) carries as his main weapon a 3" barrel Smith & Wesson Model 65 with wood-colored grips. In Season 9's finale "Demons" (S09E24), Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) is seen holding Reid's revolver.
Colt Python
During a dream sequence in "Route 66" (S09E05), Hotchner's old nemesis George Foyet/'The Boston Reaper' (C. Thomas Howell) wields a nickeled six-inch barreled Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver. The revolver the Reaper had used in previous episodes was a Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center.
Rifles / Carbines
M4A1
Throughout the series, FBI SWAT and several local police tactical units carry M4A1 Carbines, both standard models and variants with various accessories. US troops are also seen armed with the rifle in "200" (S09E14), which is the series' 200th episode.
AKM
The AKM is seen fired by insurgents in "200" (S09E14), which is the series' 200th episode.
Sniper Rifles
Nemesis Arms Vanquish
A suppressed Nemesis Arms Vanquish is used by Colin Bramwell (Mike Colter) in "Final Shot" (S09E03).
Remington 700PSS
In "Final Shot" (S09E03), Hotchner takes up a Remington 700PSS rifle.
Submachine Guns
MAC-10
The MAC-10 is used by Preacher Justin Mills (Brett Cullen) in the two-part season finale "Angels" (S09E23) and "Demons" (S09E24).
Shotguns
Armscor M30
A Armscor M30 with a sawed-off stock is seen in "Route 66" (S09E05).
Remington 870
In "Final Shot" (S09E03), a Remington 870 is seen in a weapons locker.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB is mounted on a humvee in "200" (S09E14).
