Wes Craven was an American film director/producer known primarily for his films in the horror genre, namely such classics as The Last House on the Left (1972), |The Hills Have Eyes (1977) in addition to creating the A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream film franchises.
He passed away from brain cancer on August 30, 2015.
