Angel Has Fallen is the 2019 sequel to 2013's Olympus Has Fallen. Gerard Butler returns as Secret Service agent Mike Banning, who finds himself on the run from authorities when he is accused of being involved with the attempted assassination of President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman). The film was directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Snitch) and the cast includes Jada Pinkett Smith, Danny Huston and Nick Nolte. The film is scheduled to be released on August 23, 2019.
