Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the sixth installment in Ubisoft's Splinter Cell series. The game will take place six months after the events of Conviction. Sam Fisher is working for a newly formed clandestine unit called Fourth Echelon, as Third Echelon has been terminated by the U.S. president after its questionable loyalties in Conviction and as part of a public campaign against rogue intel agencies, promising "There is no program, no secret spies, no hidden agenda."
Features like "Mark & Execute", the ability to swap weapons on the go, and the highly popular Spies vs. Mercs multi-player will return in this sequel.
The following weapons appear in the video game Splinter Cell: Blacklist:
Pistols
Beretta Px4 Storm .45
Fisher and Briggs use Beretta Px4 Storm pistols chambered in .45 Auto. The game refers to it as "Px4 STORM .45" and has a correct 10-round starting capacity.
Caracal F40
The Caracal F40 can be seen with a red dot sight and sound suppressor in this promotional image. It is referred to as the F40 in the game.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
An enemy heavy soldier uses a Desert Eagle Mark XIX in one of the trailers. Shown to operate in incorrect DAO mode.
FN Five-seveN ODG
Sam's signature handgun, the FN Five-seveN is seen being used in the trailer and E3 gameplay video. While it retains the "FIVE-SEVEN" name in the aforementioned videos, it is renamed "5.7 USG" in the final release. It is fitted with the same compensator-style suppressor as in Conviction, and it also features the olive drab green frame.
Heckler & Koch USP45
The Heckler & Koch USP45 is seen in a video.
SIG-Sauer P226R
A former MI6 agent turned terrorist named Jadid is seen destroying evidence with a SIG-Sauer P226R pistol.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
Fisher uses a suppressed Heckler & Koch MP7A1 in one of the trailers.
Heckler & Koch UMP
A UMP (likely the .45 version) is seen on Fisher's back in a trailer.
TDI Vector
Fisher uses a TDI Vector in a trailer. The game refers to it as "Vector .45ACP".
Assault Rifles
AAC Honey Badger
Fisher has an AAC Honey Badger on his back in one of the trailers.
AK-47
Some of the enemy guards are armed with AK-47 rifles. The model of the AK is directly from Conviction, evident by the curvate of the magazine.
AKM
A customized AKM fitted with a RIS handguard and rail on top of the receiver is seen of Fisher's back in the E3 gameplay video. Some of the guards also have similar AKM's. The game mis-identifies it as an "AK-47".
Beretta ARX-160
An operative is seen holding a Beretta ARX-160 assault rifle in an officially released wallpaper.
FAMAS G2
A FAMAS G2 is seen in a trailer used by the Mercenaries.
Heckler & Koch G36C
A Merc is seen using a G36C in a trailer.
POF P416
One Merc is seen with what might be a P416 carbine.
Unidentified AR-15 carbine
Fisher is seen using an unidentified AR-15 carbine with a Magpul PRS stock, flip-up sights, PMag, custom pistol grip, and fictional under-barrel harpoon launcher. The "Sam Fisher's Gear" video refers to it as a "M416". However it is not a Heckler & Koch HK416 as previously identified because it lacks four unique, identifying characteristics; the raised top rail (to accommodate the 416's piston), the shape of the handguard, the unique gas block, and the nearly horizontal magazine well bottom.
Shotguns
AA-12
A Merc is seen using an AA-12 automatic shotgun.
Benelli M4
A guard is seen holding a Benelli M4 shotgun in one of the trailers.
RMB-93
The RMB-93 is seen during weapon selection.
Saiga-12
A guard is seen carrying a Saiga-12 shotgun with a RIS handguard.
Sniper Rifles
Knight's Armament SR-25
Victor Coste is seen with a suppressed SR-25 rifle in the World Premiere Trailer. Fisher is actually using an SR-25 with an ACOG in the Inauguration trailer.
SVU
An enemy sniper is armed with an SVU variant in the CO-OP trailer.
VSS
The VSS with a side-folding stock of the AS Val is a pre-order bonus weapon. A similar VSS was featured in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, another Tom Clancy game.
Machine Guns
Browning M2
A Browning M2 machine gun is mounted on a Technical.
Heckler & Koch MG4
The MG4 is another weapon used by the Mercs.
Ultimax 100 Mark 3
Mercenaries are seen using Ultimax 100 Mark 3 light machine guns in the Spies vs Mercs MP trailer.
Launchers
RPG-7
A man is seen firing an RPG-7 at Fisher and the hostage in the World Premiere Trailer.
