Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the sixth installment in Ubisoft's Splinter Cell series. The game will take place several years after the events of Conviction. Sam Fisher is working for Fourth Echelon, as Third Echelon has been closed by the US president after its questionable loyalties in Conviction.
Features like the "Mark & Execute", and the ability to swap weapons on the go will return in this sequel. Michael Ironside will not voice Fisher, however.
The following weapons appear in the video game Splinter Cell: Blacklist:
Pistols
FN Five-seveN
Sam's signature handgun, the FN Five-seveN is seen being used in the trailer and E3 gameplay video. It retains the "FIVE-SEVEN" name, and is fitted with the same compensator-style suppressor as in Conviction.
SIG-Sauer P226R
A man named Jadid is seen destroying evidence with a SIG-Sauer P226R pistol.
Assault Rifles
AK-47
Some of the enemy guards are armed with AK-47 rifles. The model of the AK is directly from Conviction, evident by the curvate of the magazine.
AKM
A customized AKM fitted with a RIS handguard and rail on top of the receiver is seen of Fisher's back in the E3 gameplay video. Some of the guards also have similar AKM's. The game mis-identifies it as an "AK-47".
Heckler & Koch HK416 D10RS
Fisher is seen using a Heckler & Koch HK416 D10RS with Magpul PRS stock, flip-up sights, PMag, custom pistol grip, and fictional under-barrel harpoon launcher. The "Sam Fisher's Gear" video refers to it as a "M416".
Sniper Rifles
Knight's Armament SR-25
Victor Coste is seen with a suppressed SR-25 rifle in the World Premiere Trailer.
Machine Guns
Browning M2
A Browning M2 machine gun is mounted on a Technical.
Launchers
RPG-7
A man is seen firing an RPG-7 at Fisher and the hostage in the World Premiere Trailer.
