The Dark Knight Rises is the third and final installment in director Christopher Nolan's trilogy of Batman films. The 2012 sequel finds Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale), now a recluse, contemplating a return to his role as Batman when a mercenary leader named Bane (Tom Hardy) threatens the citizens of Gotham City.

Handguns
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is the sidearm of several Gotham City Police officers.
Beretta Cougar
A thug uses a Beretta Cougar to threaten Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) in an early scene.
CZ 75
The CZ 75 is used by Stryver (Burn Gorman), the right hand man of Daggett (Ben Mendelsohn). Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) later seizes the pistol and uses it during a gunbattle in a bar.
Glock 17
A CIA operative draws a Glock 17 when their plane is skyjacked by Bane's men. GCPD Officer John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) uses a Glock 17 throughout the film, as do most of the other GCPD officers.
Glock 19
Deputy Commissioner Foley (Matthew Modine) appears to use a Glock 19 as his sidearm.
SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226 is carried by Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) as his personal sidearm. Selena Kyle (Anne Hathaway) is seen using a SIG-Sauer 226 as well.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
A CIA operative (Aidan Gillen) uses a Heckler & Koch USP Compact in the film's prologue.

Heckler & Koch MP5A2s are seen carried by GCPD SWAT officers.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3s are also seen carried by GCPD SWAT officers.

While disguised as relief workers, US Special Forces soldiers including Captain Jones (Daniel Sunjata) use Heckler & Koch MP5KA4s attached to shoulder slings under their jackets.
IMI Mini Uzi
Mini Uzis are used by Bane's men when they skyjack the CIA plane in mid-air during the prologue. Bane and the mercenary disguised as a worker (David Dayan Fisher) also uses the Mini Uzi during the takeover of the Gotham Stock Exchange.
IMI Micro Uzi
One of Bane's men uses a Micro Uzi when the Gotham Stock Exchange is taken over.
Rifles
Heckler & Koch G36C
Heckler & Koch G36Cs are the main weapons used by Bane's (Tom Hardy's) men. Deputy Commissioner Foley (Matthew Modine) also fires a G36C near the end of the film.
AKMS
Several prisoners are seen carrying AKMS rifles when they break out of Blackgate Prison. A few mercenaries are also armed with the AKMS.
AKM
A mercenary fires an AKM before being attacked by Batman.
Norinco Type 56-1
One of the Uzbek militia men who gives the three "prisoners" to the CIA extraction team carries a Norinco Type 56-1 during the film's prologue.
Mk. 18 Mod 0
Mk. 18 Mod 0s are carried by two of the CIA agents on the extraction team in the prologue.
M4A1 Carbine
U.S. Army soldiers carry M4A1 Carbines when they meet with Bane's mercenaries after all the bridges to Gotham City are destroyed.
Shotguns
Remington 870
The Remington 870 is seen as the standard shotgun of the Gotham City Police Department. John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) uses a Remington 870 Police Magnum Riot shotgun when searching for Commissioner Gordon at the Gotham General Hospital.
Short barreled Side by Side Shotgun (Sawed Off)
The Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun is used by one of Bane's soldiers and by Bane (Tom Hardy) himself.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M107
When GCPD SWAT teams engage Bane's men in the alleyway shootout, Bane's second in command Barsad (Josh Stewart) uses a Barrett M107 to cover his retreating comrades.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
Browning M2HB heavy machine guns are mounted atop of mercenary pickup trucks. GCPD officers use a captured M2HB to shoot up one of the trucks containing a thermonuclear device.
Other
EMP Weapon
One of the weapons wielded by Batman is what appears to be a rifle that fires EMP pulses to disable vehicles.
