Roadracers is a 1994 made for television film that was only the second directed by Robert Rodriguez. Originally part of a film anthology that aired on the Showtime network, the drama starred David Arquette as a rebellious young man in the 1950's who is at odds with the local sheriff and his son. The film also co-starred Salma Hayek, who made her American film debut.
