The following weapons were used in Season 5 of the television series Major Crimes:
Handguns
Glock 17
Lt. Mike Tao (Michael Paul Chan), Detective Amy Sykes (Kearran Giovanni), Capt. Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) all carry the Glock 17.
Beretta 92FS
Detective Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) continues to carry the LAPD's previously standard issue Beretta 92FS as his onduty sidearm. While the current sidearm issued by the LAPD in reality is the Glock 22, several uniformed officers continue to be seen with the Beretta 92FS (probably because they were grandfathered in and allowed to continue carrying the Beretta). Lt. Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey) also appears to have gone back to carrying the Beretta that he primarily carried in seasons of The Closer. In "White Lies Part 1" (S5E11), a Beretta appears to be the pistol in an evidence bag that is used in a shootout. In the same episode, Assistant Chief Russell Taylor (Robert Gossett) also draws a Beretta during a confrontation in the courtroom.
Colt XSE M1911
A Colt XSE pistol is used in a standoff in "Cashed Out" (S5E05).
Smith & Wesson 6906
Lieutenant Andy Flynn (Anthony John Denison) carries a Smith & Wesson 6906.
Submachine Guns
IMI Mini Uzi
Elliot Chase (Jere Burns) uses dual Mini Uzis with the stocks removed in "Moral Hazard" (S5E07).
Rifles/Carbines
Heckler & Koch HK416
Elliot Chase (Jere Burns) uses a Heckler & Koch HK416 as a sniper rifle in "Moral Hazard" (S5E07). Some SWAT officers are armed with the HK416 in "Dead Zone" (S5E10).
M4A1
SWAT officers are armed with the M4A1 in "Dead Zone" (S5E10).
Remington 700SPS
Sanchez uses what appears to be a Remington Model 700SPS rifle in "Dead Zone" (S5E10).
