The Chronicles of Riddick is the 2004 sequel to Pitch Black. A second sequel entitled Riddick is scheduled for release in 2013.

The guards at the Crematoria pistol planet are armed with a futuristic "slug gun". These weapons were Calico M950 submachine guns with futuristic shells built over them.
Double Barrel Shotgun
Some of the mercenaries wield a shotgun-type weapon with two detachable barrels.
Compact pistol
The warden of the Crematoria prison dubbed "The Guv" (Yorick van Wageningen) keeps what appears to be a compact pistol in a desk drawer.
