Delta Force: Urban Warfare is a console spin-off in the Delta Force series developed by Rebellion.
Instead of large battles, the game is about solo infiltiration missions, with an in-depth stealth system, especially for the PS1. (The player can start leaving blood trails if hurt, allowing enemies to track the player and the player can drag bodies as well as throw their knife as an alternative attack.)
While the game gave the player more actions than even the PC titles, this came at a cost of an awkward control scheme. (For instance, pressing L2 leans left, double tapping it has the player do a short dodge-hop to the left and pressing it while holding Triangle changes fire mode, which the D-PAD can also be used for, even the relatively basic action of reloading, requires holding Triangle and then pressing R1 which is also the interact function.)
Several of the game's weapons would be recycled for Rainbow Six: Lone Wolf.
The following weapons appear in the video game Delta Force: Urban Warfare:
Pistols
Para Ordance P-14
The Para Ordance P-14 appears as the game's main handgun, with the same controls as changing the fire mode on other weapons, the suppressor can be freely attached and detached from the weapon.
Shotgun
Franchi SPAS-12
The Franchi SPAS-12 appears firing in semi-automatic. A weird quirk is that the player actually has the hold the reload button down to fully reload the shotgun, with shells being inserted as the player holds the button down.
Submachine Guns
IMI Uzi
The IMI Uzi loaded with 25-round magazines appears as the most common weapon used by enemies in the early game.
Heckler & Koch MP5
An unknown model of the MP5 appears as one of the submachine guns.
Heckler & Koch MP5SD2
The H&K MP5SD2 appears as one of the submachine guns.
Assault Rifles
Colt XM4 Carbine
The series mainstay Colt XM4 Carbine, it is called the "M4 " and is sometimes equipped with an M203 as usual for the series or an "M870" underbarrel shotgun. Enemies are only ever equipped with the M203 verison and will occasionally fire it at the player.
Machine Gun
FN M249
The M249 SAW appears as the LMG of the game.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M82A1
The Barrett M82A1 appears with a suppressor and a night vision scope for a Sniper Scope-style sniping section.
Galil Sniper Rifle
The Galil Sniper Rifle appears as the weapon of enemy snipers in the sniping section.
Explosives
Flashbang
A Flashbang Grenade appears as one of two grenades in the game, the same model is used for a Smoke Grenade.
M26 grenade
The M26 hand grenade appears as the "Frag Grenade", enemies will occasionally use it against the player.
Milkor MGL
The Milkor MGL appears and is called the "MGL" in the late-game.
C4
C4 appears as a placable explosive, the player must place a detonator near C4 to be able to detonate it. (Via pressing X to enter a special mode where the other face buttons are used to remotely detonate the C4 individually.)
Mine
A generic mine appears in-game as one of the explosives, it can either be placed on walls like the C4 or dropped at your feet when selected as a weapon quickly, the briefing of the first mission mentions claymores, so it's possible the mines were originally ment to be claymores.
