Bioshock
Oh, you can't really see it on the player model, but it's very obvious from the in-world model that it's no Kar 98; the barrel's totally wrong, the bands are the wrong size and shape (though they're not exactly right for a Springfield, they're a fair bit closer), and the stock has an angular pistol grip rather than the rounded one on a Kar 98, and no shoulder rest like our pictured A3. Most obvious sign on the player model is it has a front sling attachment that's absolutely identical to the one on our pictured M1903A3, you can see that during a reload.

So, let's tally things up: Similarities to 1903: Front sling attachment. Similarities to Kar98k: Rear sight, upper handguard. Similarities to Enfield: Front sight. I'd say the Kar98k still wins out. Unless you can provide pictures to support your claim that it is more similar to a 1903A3, I'm gonna have to change it back to the Kar.
So...where are your similarities to the 1903A3? Just because it doesn't exactly resemble the Kar98k doesn't mean it automatically resembles a 1903A3.
- Like I said, the stock is more or less an exact match to our pictured M1903A3, the barrel and front sight placement are too. The metal bands aren't really right for either (they should be closer together for a Kar 98 and further apart for a Springfield) but the one at the front is about the right size for the muzzle of a Springfield. It does have a section of exposed barrel at the front like a Kar 98 and the trigger guard looks closer to a 98 than a Springfield, but I'd say it's more M1903A3 than Kar 98. OK, so let's tally again:
1903A3 Similarities: Pistol-grip buttstock, front sling attachment, location of front sight.
Kar98k Similarities: Upper handguard, trigger guard, stock bands (cartoon disproportions aside, they match the design of the Kar98k, and nothing of the Springfield), rear sight.
Enfield Similarities: Front sight.
So that's 3 points 1903A3, 4 points Kar98k, 1 point Enfield. Kar98k still wins.
EDIT: Just saw your edit to the page. I can dig it.
- If we're totalling up points there's actually five for the Kar 98 since from what I can tell the bolt handle isn't angled slightly to the rear like on the Springfield, but you can easily split points into sub-points and the like and that never goes anywhere.
