That may be, but if it is not semi-automatic only (as it clearly is not), it has a full-auto lower. Therefore, it is most likely an M4A1 with a civilian-type upper receiver. Since the weapon is (regardless of its full-auto capabilities) obviously similar to an M4 (civilian versions are often known as "M4geries"), it is still close enough. You are being needlessly confusing otherwise to call it an "AR15", and since it is automatic, it seems irrelevant.

Also, you are screwing up the format of the page. You don't make new entires for "technicalities" and "accessories"; that's not how we do things on here. If you wish to talk about the accessories and point out that the gun has a civilian-type upper receiver with a 16" barrel, you put that under the entry for the gun itself.

-My intentions were for the end user in mind. People might get the urge to build "clones" of the firearm itself, buying a 14.5" upper (thinking it's the closest thing they can get to "milspec"), and then mating it with a lower, violating NFA laws. Second is accuracy. An M4A1 lower with a 16" upper does NOT make it an M4A1, nor does it even qualify for "close enough". Even if we see the roll mark on the lower bearing Colt's name, it still wouldn't be an M4A1. As for the accessories, ALL of them are available to the public (even the unmentioned DIAS), which is what I wanted them to know. They can BUILD clones of the movie. Simply saying that it is an M4A1 seems that it is out of their reach.

Now, for a common person all these terms will most likely be confusing, I agree. However, I disagree on it's relevance. Since it seems you know more about this site, I will edit the page accordingly.
