My interest in firearms probably started when I got a toy lever gun firing tiny suction cup darts, but it only got serious around my 20th birthday, when I discovered Forgotten Weapons. Unfortunately, I live in Hungary, where gun ownership isn't exactly common. Just to put it in perspective, there is only one store in a country of 10 MILLION people where you can buy gunpowder for handloading (for which you need a separate license beside your gun permit), and they aren't making more money than the average gun store in the US.

In the last few months, I started to try and identify the various firearms I saw in movies or computer games. Then I remembered that there is an entire website for people who do this, so I decided to join them.

I've only been to a shooting range a few times, but it had a surprisingly varied selection of firearms, besides the Glocks, Berettas and AKs you'd normally find here (such as a Chiappa Rhino, KEL-TEC KSG, and a Luger P08), but being a student, I can't afford to go there more often, let alone to own a gun myself. So until I get my diploma and find a job, I have to make do with watching youtube videos, and boring my friends to tears whenever I see an interesting gun in a game or a movie.
