Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is a 2010 Canadian-American horror-comedy film written and directed by Eli Craig. The film stars Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine as well-meaning hillbillies Tucker McGee and Dale Dobson, who go on vacation to an abandoned cabin in the Appalachian Mountains. After saving camping college student Allison (Katrina Bowden) from drowning in the nearby river, the two hillbillies now find themselves being hunted down by the girl's friends, who have mistaken them for psychotic murderers. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010 and received an overwhelmingly positive reception, with specific praise going to the film's comedic subversions of the slasher horror genre and its conventions. The film received a South Korean remake, Handsome Guys, in 2024.

The following weapons were used in the film Tucker & Dale vs. Evil:

Colt Python

Sheriff Gurr (Philip Granger) carries a holstered Colt Python with him, which Chuck (Travis Nelson) takes after he is accidentally killed. After Chuck's own accidental death, Chad (Jesse Moss) later takes and uses the revolver.

"Fuck you, you motherfuckers!"
Chad aims the revolver at Tucker and Dale...
...but struggles to fire the revolver due to the safety apparently being on. In reality, double-action revolvers like the Colt Python do not have pistol-like external safety switches.
After Dale (rather foolishly) reminds him of the revolver's "safety", Chuck lowers and inspects the gun, leading to him inadvertently shooting himself in the head.

"Hey, hillbilly! Your move!"
