The Burrowers (2008)

The Burrowers is a 2008 direct-to-DVD horror film set in the Dakota Territories in 1879. A search party goes out into the wilderness to locate a group of pioneers. At first, it is assumed that the settlers who disappeared were victims of Sioux raids, but as time progresses, they discover the existence of subterranean carnivorous creatures known as "Burrowers". They must fight to survive against this horrific new threat.
