The Sako TRG (short for Finnish: "Tarkkuuskivääri Riihimäki G-sarja", Finnish for "Riihimäki Precision Rifle G-series", with Riihimaki being the city of production and G representing "7", as the TRG was developed as a successor of the Sako TR-6), is a Finnish bolt-action sniper rifle, made by Sako and derived from the Valmet M86. The TRG is considered one of the best sniper rifles in the world and widely adopted among various special forces.
