Kiss Me Deadly' (1955)

Kiss Me Deadly is a 1955 film noir based on the Mike Hammer mystery novel of the same name by Mickey Spillane. The film is generally considered one of the classics in the genre. Directed by Robert Aldrich (The Dirty Dozen), the film stars Ralph Meeker, Albert Dekker, and Cloris Leachman in her first film role. Private Detective Mike Hammer (Ralph Meeker) tries to save his assistant, Velda Wickman (Maxine Cooper), and himself from a crime syndicate by solving the puzzle, "Remember me".
