I'm Your Woman is a 2020 neo-noir crime movie set in late 1970s Pittsburgh, directed by Julia Hart. Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) plays Jean, the wife of Eddie (Bill Heck). Eddie is a professional thief who one day brings home a baby for Jean to care for. Jean knows the Eddie is a professional criminal, but very little else. One night, one of Eddie's associates hustles Jean and the baby away. Only telling her that things have gone wrong and she and the baby are going somewhere safe. Jean begins a struggle to stay alive while Eddie's enemies pursue her and her attempts to find out what exactly happened to her husband. The director and writer of the film, Julia Hart, stated in interview that I'm Your Woman is the spiritual counterpart of the 1981 Michael Mann crime movie Thief. In that movie, professional thief Frank (James Caan) hustles off Jessie (Tuesday Weld) and their adopted baby when he has to deal with his enemies. She is never seen again. I'm Your Woman follows the wife after she is rushed away. The film received a limited release on December 4, 2020 and premiered on Amazon Prime on December 11, 2020. It was filmed in the Fall of 2019 in and around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The following weapons were used in the film I'm Your Woman:

Smith & Wesson Model 28 "Highway Patrolman"

Art (Frankie Faison) takes out a Smith & Wesson Model 28 "Highway Patrolman" while walking with Jean and gives her some basic shooting instructions. After demonstrating how to shoot, he hands it it her and tells her "Get used to the weight".

Jean (Rachel Brosnahan) fires a handgun for the first time in her life. The closed eyes not only make sense, but it's plausible it's intentional.

Smith & Wesson Model 60

Jean (Rachel Brosnahan) obtains a Smith & Wesson Model 60 and uses it very effectively.

Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket

Jean (Rachel Brosnahan) uses what appears to be a nickel-plated Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket as a hideaway piece.

Beretta 92

The gangsters that Jean has to confront carry the early-model Beretta 92. The movie is set in the late 1970s and the pistol was introduced in 1975, so it is period correct.
