Guy Pearce is an Australian actor. His first role was on the Australian soap opera Neighbours in the role of Mike Young, a role he portrayed for three years from 1986-1989, and would later reprise in 2022. He reached international recognition for his role as Adam Whitely/Felicia Jollygoodfellow the 1994 comedy The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. From there, he broke into Hollywood films with starring roles as Edmund Exley in L.A. Confidential and Leonard Shelby in Memento. He has since appeared in films such as The Road, The Hurt Locker, The King's Speech, Prometheus, and Without Remorse
