The following weapons were used in the film Flightplan:

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! MAJOR SPOILERS

Glock 23

Air Marshal Gene Carson (Peter Sarsgaard) carries a 2nd Generation Glock 23 as his sidearm. He is seen giving it to Captain Marcus Rich (Sean Bean) before he and the rest of the crew disembark the E474 (fictionalized A380 with elements from the 747, thus the name).

Glock 23 2nd Generation - .40 S&W
Air Marshal Carson hands his Glock 23 to Captain Rich.
Capt. Rich holds the compact-sized Glock.
Note the .40 caliber bore diameter, indicating the pistol is a Glock 23.

Colt Mustang

Air Marshal Carson keeps a Colt Mustang in his ankle holster as a backup weapon. He fires seven rounds before reloading, its full magazine capacity plus one in the chamber.

Colt Mustang - .380 ACP
Carson draws his Colt Mustang from an Uncle Mike's ankle holster.
Closeup of the Mustang. Note how the top of the barrel seen through the ejection port is milled down, a necessity for the gun to properly cycle blanks.
The massive muzzle flash from the Colt Mustang.
Carson searches the plane while armed with the pistol.
Note that the Mustang's hammer is correctly cocked, something which (aside from one or two brief goofs) is depicted consistently throughout this sequence.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

Several Emergency Response Team officers are seen holding Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns fitted with Surefire weaponlights.

ERT officers holding MP5A3s with the stocks extended. Note the RCMP shoulder flash, appropriate for this being Goose Bay, Newfoundland.
Another MP5A3 with its stock collapsed. The officer's holstered pistol is also visible; it may be a SIG-Sauer P226 (as it should be in reality).
