Fighting Film Collection (Boyevoy kinosbornik)

Fighting Film Collection (Boyevoy kinosbornik) was a series of Soviet war films, released in 1941-1942. Each consisted of two to six feature segments and sometimes an additional documentary. The segments were united in a story by the theme (such as Soviet partisans, European resistance, or females at war) or by the person of storyteller (mostly characters from popular pre-war movies). The kinosborniki were numbered rather than being individually titled. The first kinosbornik was released in August 1941. In 1942 the following production of kinosborniki was abandoned in favour of full-length feature movies.
