Desi Arnaz (1917-1986) was a Cuban-born American actor/musician best known for his role as Ricky Ricardo in the television sitcom I Love Lucy and for his marriage to actress/comedian Lucille Ball. Along with Ball, Arnaz created Desilu Productions, which was responsible for putting forth such television series as Mission: Impossible and Star Trek.
