|
Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold is a 1975 blaxploitation movie about Cleopatra Jones (Tamara Dobson), an anti-narcotics agent who travels to Hong Kong to investigate the kidnapping of two fellow agents Matthew and Melvin by druglord Dragon Lady (Stella Stevens).
In her investigation, which takes her from the junks of Hong Kong to the casinos of Macao, she is assisted by Mi Ling Fong (Ni Tien) and members of her Hong Kong Tactical Squad 7. This movie is the sequel to the 1973 movie Cleopatra Jones.

In a few scenes, M1911A1 style pistols with different barrel lengths and finishes can be seen. They are too close for identification but the M1911A1 heritage is undeniable.

The Smith & Wesson Model 10 is used by many characters in the movie, most notably by Morgan (Eddy Donno), Cleopatra Jones, thugs and members of Hong Kong Tactical Squad 7.

A bodyguard of Dragon Lady pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 38 on Cleopatra Jones. It is impossible to verify if it’s the aluminium Model 38 or the steel Model 49 hence Model 38/49.

The "camel hump" hammer shroud and cylinder release give this revolver away as a Smith & Wesson Model 38.
Unidentified Revolver
Soon Da Chen (Shen Chan) carries an unidentified snub-nose revolver as he is being chased by members of Hong Kong Tactical Squad 7.
It’s definitely a snub-nose, but further details like barrel and frame cannot be seen.

Sterling Mk. IV
The Sterling Mk. IV is used by Cleopatra Jones, Mi Ling Fong (Ni Tien), Dragon Lady henchman Mendez (Christopher Hunt) and several members of Hong Kong Tactical Squad 7.

The M1 Carbine is used by Soon Da Chen and many of his thugs. It is also seen in the weapon cabinet at Hong Kong Tactical Squad 7’s headquarters.

Cleopatra Jones takes an Ithaca 37 shotgun with a shortened stock and barrel from the Hong Kong Tactical Squad 7 stock and uses it to deadly effect during a shootout.

Dragon Reducer
Mi Ling Fong takes a huge grenade from her tiny handbag that she refers to as her 'Dragon Reducer'. It’s obviously a prop inspired by the German Model 24 Stielhandgranate.
