August. Eighth (Russian Title: Avgust. Vosmogo / Август. Восьмого) is a 2012 Russian film directed by Dzhanik Fayziev. A young woman sends her son to South Ossetia to visit her ex-husband and his parents. Soon she comes to South Ossetia as well. But, the 2008 South Ossetia War begins shortly after. Now, she must save her son and survive the hell of war.

AKM

Russian troops also use the AKM. While officially replaced by the AK-74M in service with the Russian Armed Forces by the events of the film, it is still favored by troops for its heavier round that provides increased stopping power and penetration ability.
