Assassination (Korean title: 암살, Amsal) is a 2015 Korean historical action-drama film. Taking place in 1933, the film follows a group of Korean partisans as they are hired to execute an assassination plot on a Japanese collaborator, and navigate a tangled web of conspiracies surrounding betrayals, a counter-plot, and a revelation of one of the hitmen's past.

Lanchester Mk. I*
Buddy (Oh Dal-su) uses a Lanchester Mk. I* throughout the film. The submachine gun's appearance is anachronistic since it was introduced in 1941 (8 years after the setting of this film); it might be standing for the SIG Bergmann which was used by Chinese and Japanese troops at the time.

Mosin Nagant M1891
An Ok-yun (Gianna Jun) uses a Mosin-Nagant M1891 for sniping throughout the film. There are multiple inaccuracies with the rifle's scope in the film; firstly, the PU scope cannot be attached to the M1891 model of the Mosin Nagant (the scope was developed and released long after the M1891 stopped being produced), and secondly, the scope's sight is a generic cross shape instead of the PU scope's unique "T" shape.
