V: The Original Miniseries

V is the 1983 science fiction miniseries which aired over two nights on NBC. In this miniseries, an alien race who come to be known as "The Visitors" lands on Earth with the promise of the peace and prosperity for the human race. However, the truth behind their mission soon becomes evident to several humans, which then agree to form a resistance to the Visitors. The story was continued in the 1984 miniseries V: The Final Battle and V: The Series. The story would be reimagined in the 2009 television remake.

M16A1

At the beginning of the miniseries, Mike Donovan (Marc Singer) is seen covering a Central American war where rebels use M16A1 rifles against a government helicopter.

M16A1 with 20 round magazine - 5.56x45mm. What distinguishes it from the original M16 was the addition of a raised rib around the magazine release button, changing of the forward Receiver pins, and the addition of the forward assist button on the upper receiver.

M1911A1

The M1911A1 is used by a rebel leader at the beginning of the film to take down a government helicopter.

Heckler & Koch P7M13

The Heckler & Koch P7M13 is the main handgun used by Juliet Parish (Faye Grant). She is most notably seen using it against a Visitor aircraft at the climax of the miniseries.
