To the Last Man is a 1933 film starring Randolph Scott based on a story by Zane Grey.

During the same scene, Jed Colby (Noah Beery) uses a percussion rifle to shoot and kill Spelvin. Sixteen years later, Mark Hayden (Egon Brecher) takes the rifle when he goes looking for Colby.
