Type 14 pistol sword

A follow up to a similar experiment on the earlier "Baby Nambu" pistol, three prototype Type 14 pistols were modified into pistol swords in the late 1920s. The pistols featured a shortened barrel with the front sight moved to the front of the frame, and of course a guntou blade attached to the right-side grip panel. Unlike the previous iteration, the blade was detachable (presumably using the button on the grip) allowing for use of the pistol on its own. The scabbard also features a dust cover for the pistol's ejection port.
