After watching the movie last night, I observed that Bobby's Mossberg briefly changes to the 870 used by the Mercer's earlier in the film. The magazine end cap and lack of safety on top of the receiver tipped me off. I moved the screens and modified the descriptions accordingly. What caliber is the Desert Eagle?

I'm pretty sure it's .44 magnum, but it could be .50 ae

Most likely .44. This movie was filmed in Canada and had a Canadian armorer. MoviePropMaster explained to us that Canadian armorers mostly use the .44 Magnum version of the Desert Eagle, whereas American armorers only use the .357 and .50 models. -MT2008
That info was told to my face by Mike Papac and Syd Stembridge, so I trust it is true, since I myself would not know what most of the other armorers would be using, but Mike is a pretty big name in the biz (and a really nice guy) MoviePropMaster2008 02:22, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Remington 700PSS

Who keeps on misidentifying the photo of my gun as a Remington 700P. That's Remington's NEW version of this gun, but the photograph is of my 700PSS, and it's marked like that on the receiver. Since most of the armorers I know of picked up their guns when this sniper rifle was first offered, chances are that they are all 700PSS rifles, not the new 700P. Realism Rant

Sorry to go off on a tangent here guys but this is the sort of flick where, for me at least, reality goes out the window firearms wise. Not that there are guns in the movie but rather what is used. The handguns and shotguns, to a large extent, ok but, seriously, where do these guys get their firepower from? A low to mid lever gangster outfitting out his crew with assault weapons the local SWAT operators would envy. I know it makes things cooler but it still irks me just a wee bit. --Charon68 07:18, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

I thought it was a bit weird for them to be using AUG's, MP5K's and G36's, but you get bored of seeing AK's all the time. --Ben41 07:47, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
