AR-15 to AR-10 style rifle and back

Just watched the Extraction sequel and noticed Rake was using some kind or AR-10 type rifle at the apartment suite safe house in Austria after losing his DDM4V7 during the prison. Near the end Rake switches back to 5.56 AR but in a shorter barrel, possibly a Block II Mk 18 or a DDMk18. - MrJDK9412 (talk 02:27, 18 June 2023 (AEST)

Agency Arms Glock used by Tyler Rake

Do we have any confirmation that Tyler Rakes Agency Arms Glock is indeed a Glock 21? Have seen other takes that it's a Glock 17.

Can’t solidly confirm but it maybe the barrel gives it away? It looks like 9mm (G17) but sources say it’s a G21. Confirm source then finalise edit. - MrJDK9412 (talk 16:48, 22 June 2023 (AEST)
Thank you MrJDK9421 . I thought same about barrel. (Appears to be closer to 9mm, than .45 acp, but images can be tricky) Very interested to know. Original image (thumb nail) posted reads G17 , as well as Silencer shop. run down of weapons used.. Have not found link or source that claims G21 yet. But am interested to find those.(could be) - jenglock94
Take a look at the IG post again - ISS confirmed in a comment response that it is indeed a G21. They say that the Director asked for a G21 because Chris Hemsworth has such huge hands that they were afraid a G17 would look too small. Also: Even before ISS made the comment publicly, I had asked them in DMs, and they told me the same, which is why I changed the page in the first place. -MT2008 (talk) 23:27, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
Aww , thank you for the clarification MT2008! Was confused by some other postings of it being possibly the 17 . (Though I did watch the movie again, and noticed that a couple times Rake reloads after 12 or so rounds, which does fit the 21 13+1 capacity) I appreciate you providing clarity. Makes me wonder now about the Glock from first film, if it's a 17. (The bigger hands thing etc.) Either way cheers and thanks- - jenglock
When a page is marked as incomplete, I wouldn't take the posting as gospel. Also: The number of rounds fired onscreen is a bad way to tell the difference, since (as you can imagine) it is common for Hollywood to not show reloads, implying an exaggerated capacity (especially for automatic weapons). Visually, one way to tell a G21 from any of the normal full-sized Glocks (G17, G22, etc.) is that it has a wider slide, but uses the same rear sight. This visual difference can be obvious in some films. -MT2008 (talk) 12:10, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
