Spiral (also known as Spiral: From the Book of Saw or Saw IX) is a 2021 American crime thriller film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger. It is the ninth installment in the Saw franchise. The film stars Chris Rock, Max Minghella, Samuel L. Jackson, Marisol Nichols, Richard Zeppieri, Patrick McManus, Edie Inksetter, and Thomas Mitchell.

Handguns
Beretta 92FS
After murdering witness Charlie Emmerson (Frank Licari) in a flashback, Officer Peter Dunleavy (Patrick McManus) puts a Beretta 92FS in his hand to make it look like an attack.

Detective Marv "Boz" Bozwick (Dan Petronijevic) holds a 2nd Gen Glock 17 in the opening scene, chasing pickpocket Benny Wrights (Chad Camilleri) in the subway. Detective Zeke Banks (Chris Rock), working undercover, commits a robbery at a motel with a 3rd Gen Glock 17. Many police officers and detectives, including Officer Pat Jones (Trevor Gretzky), Officer Grant (Nadine Roden), Officer Jeannie Lewis (Ali Johnson), Captain Angie Garza (Marisol Nichols), Detective Deborah Kraus (Edie Inksetter), Detective Lieutenant Tim O'Brien (Thomas Mitchell), are armed with pistols throughout the film. Noticing the open door to his apartment, Zeke pulls out his gun and slowly walks around it until he meets his father. At the order of Detective Fitch (Richard Zeppieri), the pawn shop owner (Peter Hoy) gives the gun from gun rack. Remarkably, throughout the movie, Zeke changes the 2nd and 3rd generations of his Glock, which is probably a continuity error.
