Silent Barricade, The
The Silent Barricade (orig. Němá barikáda) is a Czechoslovak war film from the period of the Prague uprising, which in 1949 the director Otakar Vávra made according to the novel written by Jan Drda. The story tells of Prague's citizens, who organized resistance against Panzer Division SS was coming to Prague. In Troja, their building of barricades on the bridge and their defense showed the citizens' great effort and heroism.

SS soldiers and insurgents carry MP40s.
Among the weapons hidden during WWII by insurgents were also several a MP38 submachine guns.

German troops and the resistance fighters use Model 24 Stielhandgranates.

A grenade stash in the sniper's hideout contains some a Model 39 Eihandgranates and VZ 21 hand grenades.
