Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
The following weapons were used in the videogame Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles:
Heckler & Koch VP70
Leon's primary handgun during the Raccoon City scenario and during Operation Javier. This is the same weapon that Leon uses in Resident Evil 2, before being replaced by what looks to me as a custom H&K USP Expert/Smith and Wesson Sigma in RE4.
Heckler & Koch Mark 23
Krauser's sidearm during Operation Javier. It is unknown whether he still has it in Resident Evil 4 because the only gun he is seen firing is a Steyr TMP.
MAC-11
Secondary weapon. Not the same weapon used in the original RE2, the barrel extension is missing.
Springfield Armory XD
Ada's sidearm throughout the game.
Beretta 92FS
Claire is seen using this pistol. The one she is using appears to have a black finish and wood grips, much like the STARS model. Ada Wong appears to have this weapon as well but the image is hard to make out. Neither of these women possessed this weapon in the original game.
Leon is also seen using this weapon briefly in a cutscene.
The gun is used by Claire, Ada, and Leon in the promo footage, the gun designs were not placed in game yet. Claire uses a Browning Hi-Power as she uses in the original game, Ada uses a Springfield Armory XD as she does in Resident Evil 4 however she uses a Browning HP in RE2. Leon uses his H&K VP-70.
Franchi SPAS-12
Secondary weapon. In game it's refered to as "shotgun". it is 12 gauge and can be upgraded to hold an impossible amount of ammunition.
Luger P08
Steve Burnside's primary handgun during the game. It is a non-gold version of the PO8 and only one is used instead of the usual two he carried in RE:CV. For game balance, it carries fifteen rounds instead of the actual eight round capacity.
Browning Hi-Power
Claire's primary handgun during the RE2 and Code Veronica scenarios. It is the same gun Claire uses in RE2 however in the original Code Veronica she loses it in the opening cutscene.
Glock 17
Annete Birkin is seen using a chrome slide Glock 17(3rd gen) in the game.
