In Payback, Porter (played by Mel Gibson)uses a Model 27 357 Magnum with a four-inch barrel.

At one point in the movie, Porter is attacked by a group of Chinese gangsters he had robed earlier, and they fire a fully automatic submachine gun at him (which may be an M3A1 "greese gun" ) along with various pistols.
Porter fires back with two pistols, which appear to be Beretta 92's
Porter is then held at Gunpoint with a gun similar to a PPK
