Outpost is a 2008 action-horror film. A group of skilled mercenaries is hired to escort a mysterious businessman into the woods in an unnamed Eastern bloc country to locate a WWII Nazi bunker.

Prior (Richard Brake) carries a Beretta 92FS Centurion as his sidearm in the film.

M1911A1

DC (Ray Stevenson) and Cotter (Enoch Frost) carry M1911A1 pistols as their sidearms. DC carries his M1911A1 in a shoulder-holster.

Colt M1911A1 - .45 ACP

Cotter searches the compound with sidearm drawn.

DC chambers a round into his M1911. It would be wise to keep the weapon in condition 1 in a combat situation, but the racking of the slide was most probably done for dramatical purposes.

DC holds his M1911A1.

CZ 75B

Jordan (Paul Blair) and McKay (Michael Smiley) carry CZ 75B pistols as their sidearms.

SIG-Sauer P239

DC (Ray Stevenson) also carries a SIG-Sauer P239 as a secondary sidearm in the film. He offers the weapon to Hunt (Julian Wadham) at one point. One of the men of the second mercenary team entering the compound in the end also uses a SIG-Sauer P239.

Walther P38

German scientists use Walther P38s in the archival footage.

Rifles

Heckler & Koch G36C

DC (Ray Stevenson) and Jordan (Paul Blair) use Heckler & Koch G36C assault rifles. The sound mixers used different sound effects for Jordan's G36C and DC's G36C, even though they're the same rifle.

Mercenaries Prior (Richard Brake), McKay (Michael Smiley), and Voyteche (Julian Rivett) all carry folding-stock Norinco Type 56-1 rifles.

AKM

Mercenaries Cotter (Enoch Frost) and Taktarov (Brett Fancy) carry AKMs.

AKM (stamped steel receiver with slant muzzle brake) - 7.62x39mm

Taktarov holds his AKM as the group stops.

Tak fires at the source of incoming fire. His AKM is missing its slanted muzzle brake.

Cotter scans the treeline.

Cotter fires at the treeline. Notice how Cotter is most probably a lefty, firing the AKM with his left hand. This is somewhat uncomfortable, as some of the spent shell casings are bound to hit him in the face/head.

Hunt fires an AKM.

Mauser Karabiner 98k

The Germans are armed with Mauser Karabiner 98k rifles.

One of the men of the second mercenary team entering the compound in the end is carrying a FAMAS.

If you look VERY closely, you can see the faint outline of a FAMAS to the left of the light.

Submachine Guns

MP40

German soldiers carry MP40s in the background and in the archival footage. Some of the Nazi Ghosts also carry MP40s, but never use them.

Heckler & Koch FABARM FP6

Prior carries a Heckler & Koch FABARM FP6 shotgun in addition to his Norinco Type-56 rifle. The FABARM is fitted with a pistol grip.
