OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies is a 2006 French retro spy spoof starring Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo, directed by Michel Hazanavicius. It reimagines the original OSS 117 series, meant to be serious spy films, as spoofs of spy films of the era. In 1955, secret agent OSS 283 Jack Jefferson was killed in Cairo. Headquarters in Paris sends its agent OSS 117 to Egypt to investigate the events. OSS 117 pokes a hornet's nest on the ground as the British, Soviets, and Egyptians fight over the Suez Canal. OSS 117 receives support from the Egyptian Larmina, who worked for Jack, who is then confronted with the seductive princess Al Tarouk and with the underground movement of the "Eagles of Cheops", who want to wage a holy war.

This film is followed by a 2009 sequel, OSS 117: Lost in Rio, with Dujardin and Hazanavicius returning. Dujardin, Bejo, and Hazanavicius would reunite in 2011 for The Artist.

The following weapons were used in the film OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies:

Pistols

Walther PP

Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath / Lucien Bramard / OSS 117 (Jean Dujardin) carries a Walther PP as his sidearm. The Imam (Youssef Hamid) gets a hold of it in the end.

Post war Walther PP - .32 ACP
"Who are you? With whom do I have the honor and what are you doing here?"
OSS 117 bursts into Jack's office with pistol drawn.
A closer view of OSS 117's Walther.
Guns are phallic, yes, we get it.
OSS 117 surrenders his PP.
The Imam holds OSS 117 at gunpoint with his own gun.
Due to a continuity error, Jack holds a Walther PP instead of his Beretta.

Walther PPK

As Jack Jefferson (Philippe Lefebvre) is disguised as a Waffen SS officer in 1945, he keeps a pistol in his holster which could be a Walther PPK.

Walther PPK - .380 ACP
Jack Jefferson wearing an SS-Untersturmführer (Second lieutenant) uniform carries the pistol in the holster. Also, note the "Das Reich" wristband; von Umsprung and Ruprecht also have some of these, which makes them members of the 2nd SS Panzer Division.
The bottom of the grip is seen.

Beretta M1934

Jack Jefferson (Philippe Lefebvre) is armed with a Beretta M1934.

Beretta Modello 1934 - .380 ACP

Jefferson confronts Hubert with his M1934.

Luger P08

Colonel Hermann Von Umsprung (Michael Hofland) of the Waffen-SS draws a Luger P08 during the World War II flashback. OSS 117 later picks it up. Gerhard Möller (Richard Sammel) has one in Cairo.

Luger P08 - 9x19mm Parabellum
Von Umsprung discovers Jefferson onboard the Ju 52 transport aircraft which is actually a Spanish CASA 352L. His collar insignia matches an SS-Standartenführer which is equivalent to the mentioned rank in the film. However, the officer cap is a Wehrmacht one not from the Waffen SS.

The dropped Luger slides to the cockpit which offers a view of the grip.

Möller points his Luger at OSS 117.
Möller brandishes his Luger.

Revolvers

Colt Police Positive

Raymond Pelletier (François Damiens) tries to kill OSS 117 with a pair of Colt Police Positives.

"Got it?"
Raymond starts siming his Colts at OSS 117.

The grips are visible while he takes out his glasses from his pocket.
""It's jammed"... I see it's jammed! Do I look stupid?"

Unknown Revolver

The Princess (Aure Atika) uses an unknown revolver in the end. There's not enough detail to see what kind it is.

The Princess cocks the hammer...
...and points it at Jack.
The Princess aims at Larmina after their catfight.

Submachine Guns

MP 40

At the film's beginning, some German soldiers in the background appear to carry MP40s.

Maschinenpistole 40 - 9x19mm Parabellum
Two soldiers at the hangar in the left corner running with their MP 40s. Note the collar of Ruprecht's (Jean-François Halin, screenwriter of this movie) uniform which indicates him as an SS-Obersturmführer (First lieutenant), however, his shoulder insignia are from an Untersturmführer (Second lieutenant).
Another view shows the grips of the submachine guns.

Rifles

Karabiner 98k

What appears to be Karabiner 98ks are seen carried by German soldiers.

Karabiner 98k - 7.92x57mm Mauser
A soldier runs through the scenery with his rifle which has a side-mounted sling.
Another soldier carries his Karbiner. The curved bolt handle can be seen.
