The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Nestor Burma:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 19
One of the thugs in "Les Cadavres de la plaine Monceau" (S1E2) is armed with a Smith & Wesson Model 19 revolver.
Smith & Wesson Model 586
Zavatter (the character is played by Claude Brosset in Ep. 1-2 and by Michel Fortin in Ep. 3-4), Burma's assistant, carries a Smith & Wesson Model 586 with 4" barrel. Note: this revolver can be a Manurhin MR-73 with 4" barrel and adjustable sights but the shape of the frame matches S&W Model 586 better than MR-73.
Colt Python
In the opening scene in "Corrida aux Champs-Élysées" (S1E3) during the shooting of a film an actor in the role of a murderer holds a Colt Python. While blank-firing Bruni Magnum is more often seen in Nestor Burma series, this particular revolver has a checkered grip with a logo, thus the revolver appears to be a Python.
Unidentified revolver 1
In the final scene in "Pas de bavards à la Muette" (S1E1) André Barnier-Dechambre (Emmanuel Patron) uses a revolver that resembles a Smith & Wesson Military & Police.
Unidentified revolver 2
Inspector Fabre (Patrick Guillemin) is seen with a revolver in several scenes.
Unidentified revolver 3
In "Corrida aux Champs-Élysées" (S1E3) Montférier (Georges Claisse) uses a snub nose revolver.
Unidentified revolvers 4
Several pistols and revolvers are seen in Laurence Bertin's (Lydia Andrei) apartments in "Fièvre au Marais" (S1E4).
Pistols
Smith & Wesson 459
In Season 1 Nestor Burma (Guy Marchand) carries a Smith & Wesson 459 pistol. In several scenes Burma's pistol is seen in hands of other characters.
MAB Model A
A pocket pistol with pearl grips that appears to be a MAB Model A is seen in "Les Cadavres de la plaine Monceau" (S1E2).
Colt Model 1903
A Colt Model 1903 is a murder weapon in "Les Cadavres de la plaine Monceau" (S1E2). In the climactic scene of the same episode Zavatter (Claude Brosset) holds a Colt Model 1903.
High Standard Supermatic Citation
Laurence Bertin (Lydia Andrei) is seen with a High Standard Supermatic Citation in "Fièvre au Marais" (S1E4).
Derringer
In one scene in "Les Cadavres de la plaine Monceau" (S1E2) Madame Bugeaud (uncredited) holds a derringer. The shape resembles Kimar Derringer but this gun didn't exist in early 1990s.
Unidentified pistol 1
An unidentified pistol is a murder weapon in "Pas de bavards à la Muette" (S1E1). Its general shape resembles Star or Llama pistols but the exact model is unclear.
Unidentified pistols 2
Several pistols and revolvers are seen in Laurence Bertin's (Lydia Andrei) apartments in "Fièvre au Marais" (S1E4).
Assault Rifles
M16
In "Corrida aux Champs-Élysées" (S1E3) a hitman uses an M16/SP1 with sniper scope. When he throws the rifle from the roof, Zavatter (Michel Fortin) picks it up and is arrested as the police mistake him with a hitman.
AK-47
AK-47s are seen in "Corrida aux Champs-Élysées" (S1E3). According to the story, they are smuggled from Czechoslovakia but they appear to be "standard" AKs, not Czech Sa vz. 58s.
