Love Me Tender was a 1956 Post-Civil War drama directed by Robert D. Webb that marked the feature film acting debut of Elvis Presley. In the film, Presley stars as a young man who finds himself at odds with his new wife and the Civil War veteran brother whom he thought had been killed in the war. The film's cast also included Richard Egan and Neville Brand.

Single Action Army revolvers, visually modified to resemble Remington 1858 New Army, are widely used in the movie. They are used by Reno brothers - Lt. Vance Reno (Richard Egan), Clint (Elvis Presley), Ray (James Drury) and Brett (William Campbell), by cavalrymen of Lt. Reno's unit - Sgt. Mike Gavin (Neville Brand), Pardee Fleming (L.Q. Jones), Kelso (Ken Clark), and by some other characters.

Remington 1858 New Army (Cartridge Conversion)
Several genuine Remington 1858 New Army are also seen in the movie. They appear to be cartridge conversion as the cylinders lack slots for caps. Official Mr. Siringo (Robert Middleton) carries an anachronistic Smith & Wesson New Model No.3. The revolver is captured from him by Vance Reno (Richard Egan).

Union infantrymen are armed with anachronistic Springfield 1873 Trapdoor rifles.

Several infantrymen are armed with heavily out of time Krag-Jorgenson rifles.

A train engineer (Robert Adler) uses what appears to be a Krag-Jorgenson carbine.
Muskets
Flintlock Carbine
During the battle on the railway station one of Lt. Reno's cavalrymen carries a flintlock carbine in saddle holster. This is an outdated weapon for American Civil War.
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
Several railwaymen are armed with double barreled shotguns.
Trivia
Muzzleloading field cannons of Union army are seen on a railway flatcar.
