The Colt 1851 Navy is used by Col. George Reeves CSA (Shea Whigham) and Major Esau Pierce CSA (Barry Pepper). Bass uses the revolver in "Part III" (S1E03).

In "Part IV" (S1E04), Bass now carries the "Cavalry" model of the Single Action Army as his sidearm.

In "Part I" (S1E01), Col. George Reeves (Shea Whigham) pulls out a Henry 1860 and gives it to Bass to carry during a charge. Bass continues to use the rifle following the war.
