Kings (2009)

Kings was a 2009 US television drama that aired for 13 episodes on NBC. The series was loosely based on the Biblical story of King David, but the setting moved to a country resembling the modern day United States (the series was filmed in New York City). The cast included Ian McShane, Christopher Egan, Susanna Thompson, Sebastian Stan, and Eamonn Walker.

The following weapons were used in the television series Kings:

Handguns

Beretta 92FS

David Shepherd is seen carrying a Beretta 92FS when conducting a rescue mission in "Goliath, Part 1" (S1E01).

Beretta 92FS - 9x19mm
In "Goliath, Part 1" (S1E01), David Shepherd (Christopher Egan) is seen carrying a Beretta 92FS when conducting a rescue mission.

Smith & Wesson M&P

Though David Shepherd uses a Beretta 92FS in the pilot, the other Gilboan soldiers throughout the show are seen using Smith & Wesson M&Ps as their sidearms. The use of these pistols, along with the Smith & Wesson M&P15 Tactical rifles, suggests that the Kingdom of Gilboa seems to have adopted Smith & Wesson firearms for their military.

Safari Arms Matchmaster

In "The Sabbath Queen" (S1E08), King Silas Benjamin (Ian McShane) is seen holding a custom Safari Arms Matchmaster 1911 clone. This is the same pistol used by Angelina Jolie in the film Wanted.

Rifles

Smith & Wesson M&P15 Tactical

The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Tactical appears to be the standard-issue infantry rifle of the Kingdom of Gilboa's Army, and is seen in the hands of various soldiers including Captain David Shepherd (Christopher Egan). Most of the rifles in the series are fitted with EOTech 553 holographic sights. At the time that the show aired (2009), the M&P15 Tactical and its free-floating continuous quad rail were fairly new to the market, making the appearance here the earliest in a film or television series.

While most of the firing M&P15 Tactical rifles in the series have 16" barrels, the series also features non-firing rifles which have shorter 14.5" barrels; it's likely that the latter are King Arms S&W MP15 airsoft replicas.

In "Goliath, Part 1" (S1E01), Eli Shepherd (Michael Mosley) is seen with the rifle. Note the "Military & Police" inscribed over the handguard, identifying the weapon as an early Smith & Wesson M&P15 Tactical.

JP-15

The JP-15 appears to be the standard weapon of the Gilboan palace guards.

Norinco Type 56-1

Blaser R93 Sniper Rifle

In "Prosperity" (S1E03), a Gilboa military sniper is armed with a suppressed Blaser R93 LRS2 when dispatched by General Abner (Wes Studi) to assassinate David Shepherd. The integral non-picatinny scope mount gives it away as an LRS2 as opposed to the R93 Tactical2.
